Pamela Dabah - Principal/Landscape Designer

Pamela graduated with a Master’s Degree in Horticulture Technology.  She had some unique opportunities that most other landscapers never get to experience.  Early on, she was the first woman hired by Parks Canada (the equivalent of the U.S. Parks Department) as a Gardener, helping to maintain their national parks.  She later worked as the Horticultural Consultant on the Stoney Indian Reservation in Alberta, Canada.  She taught the tribe techniques to improve crop production and beautify their village.

After becoming a U.S. citizen, she became the Director of Horticulture for the NY City Parks Dept.  She started the Pocket Park Program throughout the city – also known as the Adopt-A-Park program.  She designed the outdoor area at the Children’s Zoo in Central Park and the landscaping for the meridians on Park Avenue and Broadway.

Since then, Pamela founded Dabah Landscape Designs in 2003 and has been bringing her unique landscape designs to residential and commercial locations in northern and central NJ.
